     The attention of the District Educational Officers and Regional Joint Director of School Education in the state are here by informed that Selection of the best Teachers on the eve of the Teacher's Day Celebrations on 5th September 2020 selecting and regarding finalising the list of Head Masters /Teachers in Govt./Local Body Schools: Lecturers/Sr. Lecturers in the Institute of Advanced Study in Education (IASE)/Colleges of Teacher Education (CTES)/District Institutes of Education & Training (DIETS) and the Principals/Post Graduate Teachers(PGTS)/ Trained Graduate Teachers(TGTS) in Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Society to be given on the Teachers Day on 05th September on every year. Government after careful examination of the proposal and in supersession of the orders issued in the reference 1 read above, issue the following orders:-

The procedure of obtaining applications from the H.Ms./Teachers in Govt./Local Body Schools; Principals/PGTS/TGTS in TREIS and Lecturers/Sr. Lecturers in IASE/CTES/DIETS is hereby dispensed with.

1. The following Criteria/Parameters for the selection of Head Masters/Teachers in Govt./ Local Body Schools: Principals/ PGTS/ TGTS in TREIS and Lecturers/Sr.Lecturers in IASE/CTE/ DIET for the State Awards shall be followed:- 2. 1. Conditions of eligibility of Head Masters / Teachers working in Govt/Local Body Schools: Principals/PGTS/TGTS working in TREIS and Lecturers/Sr. Lecturers in IASE/CTES/DIETS for considering for the State Awards:-

a) Gazetted Head Master (HM/GHM) Gr.ll with at least 15 years of Teaching experience and for the Teachers 10 years of Teaching experience and who are actually working as (HMs)/ Teachers in Government /Local Body Schools under the School Education Department only shall be considered.

b) Normally. retired teachers are not eligible for the Awards, but those Teachers who have served a part of the academic year may be considered, if they otherwise fulfil the conditions.

c) Lecturers/Senior Lecturers working IASE/DIETS/CTES, with at least 10 years of teaching Experience only shall be considered.

d) Principals years of Teaching experience and who are working in Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Society (TREIS), only shall be considered. least 15 years of Teaching experience and for the PGTS/TGTS 10 The Headmasters/Teachers working in Govt/Local Body schools, who have done 'extraordinary work or made 'extraordinary contribution' in the following parameters shall be considered:- 2.
